About the Role:
Project Manager - Banking Operations / Collections & Recoveries
Salary to £45,000
This leading banking business is currently seeking 2 project managers to join their team based in Manchester that takes responsibility for the delivery of major / big ticket projects within the business.
This is a new team that has been formed to work alongside an existing function that delivers minor BAU change. Focusing on the big ticket items, these 2 Project Managers will take responsibility got the successful delivery of business aligned projects to plan, budget and agreed quality and governance standards. The will drive the planning framework, ensuring that plans are developed and tracked to appropriate standards, are integrated effectively across all work-streams, are unambiguous and achievable, and that dependencies are clearly understood and managed.
To be successful in this role you need to have strong stakeholder management skills, and be able to bring together operational leaders to help the successful implementation of projects. These projects are initially likely to involve change in the overall way the bank deals with their customers, particularly those in financial distress, through their dealings with the Collections functions. Previous experience in customer operations projects or collections beneficial, but not essential. Previous banking experience is not essential - if you can provide evidence of delivering major projects, at a pace, in utilities, telecoms or other customer-centric businesses then this will be great.
A recognised industry Project Management qualification in either Waterfall or Agile methodologies such as, Prince2, Agile PM, PMP required.
