A systems engineer to be responsible for leading and contributing to a team through analysis, design, test-driven, deployment, maintenance and support of software developed by the Centre for Translational Informatics (CTI; https:// [... Click Apply...]/) for deployment at the South London and The Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM; Global Digital exemplar). We are seeking an innovative and passionate systems engineer who is versatile, creative, and eager to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology and the art of software development forward. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to the inception and development of intelligent software systems contributing to advancing healthcare through Java-driven multi-agent architectures embedded within hospital systems.
● To contribute to the overall scientific endeavour of the CTI, Biomedical Research Centre for Mental Health and the Dept of Biostatstics and Health Informatics .
● To lead on the deployment and maintenance of novel clinical and biological software applications into the Microsoft Azure based SLaM cloud and SLam/CTI infrastructure.
● To develop agile methodologies and development collaboration practices to improve the deployment cycle of applications
● Follow industry best practices for the delivery of technology stacks to enable CTI projects.
This post will be fixed-term contact until 31 March 2020.
The selection process will include competency based questions, a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview.
