An exciting digital healthcare advertising agency is looking for an senior account executive to join their team in Barcelona. As the ideal candidate, you will have a life sciences degree and experience of working within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector; the ability to speak Spanish is not essential, as business will be conducted in English for the global accounts upon which you will focus. You will be working closely with senior account handlers and managing the day-to-day activities involved with delivering interesting global healthcare campaigns and projects for world-renowned pharmaceutical companies.
Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the work is completed on time, and on budget; supporting and monitoring Junior Account Executives to create estimates according to agency and client briefs; preparing and giving feedback to creative teams; reporting on activity and presenting progress back to the client; supporting the account managers with administrative and process-related tasks; continuously evaluating and checking the quality of all project outputs and contributing to logistics and organisation of events, meetings and providing support for pitching and business development.
Essential skills include:
Have a degree (or higher) in a life sciences or pharmaceutical subject
Have at least 1 years’ healthcare agency or relevant pharmaceutical experience
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to produce required documents with minimal supervision
Have a good basic understanding of healthcare marketing and business principles
Be a natural problem solver, have a positive and ambitious nature and be able to build relationships with team members and clients alike
