About the Role:
Head of Communications required for a higher education establishment based within London.
The Head of Communications will be responsible for both internal and external communications. You will be creating strategies for communications sent out and delegating responsibilities to teams in your department. You will be required to monitor how successful communication sent out has been and act depending on this. Communication needs to be precise and efficient.
- Experience managing a team within a communications department
- Internal and external communications experience
- Experience working within a higher education environment
The establishments communications department sits at around 10 - 12 members consisting of communication managers and communication officers.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work in a team delivering within a timely manner, as well as an eye for detail being able to pick up on mistakes and errors when proof reading. They will also have experience of a number of different routes to communicating messages out such as emails, web messages and social media updates.
