Based in fantastic offices in the centre of London surrounded by a number of bars, restaurants and shops.
Due to year on year growth and continued new business wins, this agency is now looking for an ambitious account director to join their account handling team and drive the business to future success. As account director, you will take full responsibility for the projects you work on and act as an inspiring mentor to more junior account handlers.
Establish strong working relationships within the agency and act as the owner of the relationship between agency and client.
Take a leadership role on the implementation of a project through ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, utilising strategic thinking skills to enhance programs and opportunities and obtaining feedback and approval on overall quality of jobs.
Deliver long term valued brand relationships to the client and the agency.
Provide support and backup to Directors on all accounts and new business opportunities.
Take part in the training, development and motivation of account handling teams.
As Account Director, you will have 5+ years' experience in account management and have experience of working in a similar position in an agency environment.
You will have a solid understanding and a real passion for pharmaceutical and health related communications.
You will have an intuitive understanding of a client's needs and objectives to assist marketing strategies.
Strong people management skills including influencing and nurturing skills.
Proven successful new business pitch abilities
Proven ability to effectively manage relationships upwards to senior management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
