About the Role:

Job description

iPLATO are looking for an ambitious Service Manager with UK GP Principal System experience to launch and operate innovative software products targeted towards GP surgeries within the NHS.

As a Service Manager, you will also be responsible for ensuring customer expectations within our community of 2,000+ GP Practices are met and exceeded. This includes but is not limited to; Change Management, KPI adherence reporting, problem and trend analysis as well as managing the customer relationship portfolio.

In your role as product owner you will work with marketing, sales and support teams on one side and technology development on the other to provide the highest level of customer service with a sales-minded attitude, while helping the team develop lasting customer relationships.

Job Duties

• Display extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and services offered.

• Ability to generate new product ideas and recommend enhancements to the existing product portfolio based on feedback from stakeholders.

• Offer exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships.

• Help drive product development by working with a team of world-class engineers and designers and integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.

• Assist with or perform administrative tasks.

Desired skills and expertise

• Passion for healthcare and technology innovation.

• 3+ years of product management (or similar) experience.

• Deep technical understanding of GP Principal Systems (EMIS, SystmOne or Vision).

• Possesses exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Able to produce simple functional specifications to communicate change requests to the tech team.

• Possesses well-honed organisational and analytical skills.

• Experience developing social products, technologies and platforms is strongly desired.

• Ability to generate new product ideas and recommend enhancements to the existing product portfolio based on feedback from stakeholders.

• Uses a proactive attitude to get the job done.

• Candidates with demonstrable insight into the operational aspects of GP Practices in the UK will be short-listed and fast-tracked to the shortlist.
